Built by a Linux admin, for people preparing for hands-on exams
Performance-based Linux exams don't ask what a command does. They hand you a server and a list of tasks. WinguLab lets you practise exactly that, on real machines, until it feels routine.

WinguLab runs WinguLab, an independent practice platform for Linux system administration. Every session gives you your own live server, real tasks, and an automatic grade when you finish.
A private server, every session
A fresh AlmaLinux 10 machine with extra disks opens in your browser. Only you can reach it, and it's destroyed when you're done.
Graded like the real thing
Your work is checked on the machine itself, including after a reboot, so a change that doesn't persist doesn't count.
Know why you missed it
Every failed task comes with a clear explanation, and your scores are broken down by skill area so you know what to practise next.
Why we built it
Videos and books explain the commands, but they can't put you in front of a broken server with a clock running. The only way to get fast at hands-on tasks is to do them, make mistakes, and fix them.
WinguLab is built and run by a working IT administrator who holds hands-on Linux and security certifications, and who wanted the practice environment he wished he'd had.
- Real machines, not quizzes. Every lab and exam runs on a live AlmaLinux 10 server.
- Isolated by design. Lab machines have no internet access; packages come from a private local mirror.
- Nothing to install. The terminal runs in any modern browser.
- Learn, then test. A guided Crash Course with hands-on labs, then timed mock exams.
- Secure payments. Billing is handled by Stripe; we never see your card.
